Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the Voyora website and your booking of any charter through it. By making a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you are booking on behalf of a group, you accept them for everyone in your party.
2. Bookings & pricing
Charter prices are shown per vessel for the hours and date selected, in Canadian dollars (CAD). The price is calculated from the operator's hourly rate at the time of booking. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before a charter is confirmed.
A booking is confirmed once payment is completed through our checkout. You will receive a confirmation by email.
3. Payments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Where a vessel operator has connected their own account, your payment is routed to that operator and Voyora retains a platform fee. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Voyora.
4. Changes, cancellations & refunds
Requests to change a charter date are subject to vessel availability and weather. To cancel, contact our concierge as early as possible.
If Voyora or the operator cancels a charter — including for unsafe weather or mechanical reasons — you will be offered a rescheduled date or a refund of the charter fee. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe.
Specific cancellation windows and any non-refundable deposits will be confirmed with your booking. Catering and third-party add-ons may be non-refundable once arranged.
5. Safety & conduct
The captain has full authority over the vessel and may alter or end a charter for safety reasons, including weather, sea state, or guest conduct. You agree to follow crew instructions at all times.
Guests are responsible for their own behaviour aboard. Unlawful activity, harm to the vessel, or endangering others may result in the charter ending without refund.
6. Capacity & accuracy
Guest numbers must not exceed the stated capacity of the vessel. The information you provide at booking — including party size and date — must be accurate. We may decline or cancel a booking that misrepresents these details.
7. Liability
Charters involve being on the water and carry inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Voyora's liability arising from a charter is limited to the amount paid for that charter. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes are subject to the courts of British Columbia.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
