1. Who we are

Voyora ("Voyora", "we", "us") operates this website and arranges private yacht charters in British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) in mind.

2. Information we collect

Booking details you provide: your name, email address, charter date, party size, and trip preferences when you request or pay for a charter.

Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers — Stripe handles it directly under their own security standards.

Communications: messages you send us by email or through our forms.

Technical data: basic, non-identifying information such as pages visited, collected to keep the site working and secure.

3. How we use your information

To create and manage your booking, take payment, and send your confirmation.

To contact you about your charter, including marina details and any changes.

To respond to enquiries and provide concierge support.

To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We use your information only for the purposes above, or purposes you would reasonably expect, unless you consent otherwise.

4. Service providers

We share information only as needed with providers who help us operate, under agreements that require them to protect it: Stripe (payments), our email provider (booking confirmations), our hosting and database providers, and the vessel operator fulfilling your charter.

Some providers may process data outside Canada; where they do, the information remains subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

5. Email & electronic messages

Transactional messages — like your booking confirmation — are sent because you made a booking. Any marketing email is sent only with your consent and includes an unsubscribe option, consistent with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

6. Retention

We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or withdraw consent. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit who can access it.

9. Contact

Questions or requests about your privacy can be sent to privacy@voyora.com.
